We appreciate your business and we feel that we can give you the highest quality entertainment that can possibly be offered. In order for us to provide and retain this kind of quality, we must ensure that we honor all contracts and cancellation requests. Our general cancellation policies are as follows:

After a performance or performer is booked for an event, if you decide to cancel, we must know at least one week before the event. Your deposit will be forfeited if the office is not notified one week before the date of the event. For weekend bookings, a cancellation fee of half will be charged if the office is not notified one week prior to the scheduled booking. For long distance parties (shows an hour or more away from Chattanooga/Atlanta), you will be billed for the full amount if the office is not notified two weeks prior to the event. You must speak with someone in the office before canceling. Leaving a voice message or sending an e-mail is not acceptable, as the voice message could be accidentally erased, and e-mails can be sent out to cyber-space. In the event that a cancellation is required, please make sure that you get the name of the representative with whom you spoke.

  • Bookings cancelled twenty-four hours or less require full payment. The performer has taken time out of their schedule and possibly turned down other bookings or personal plans to do your event. It is not likely they will be booked for another event; or, be able to make personal plans (i.e., go out of town for a family wedding, get tickets to what became a sold out concert or play, etc.) at the last minute. We have done our job in finding a fantastic entertainer for you; and, should therefore, be compensated. The entertainer was prepared to do their job for you. If you neglected to: find out whether the recipient was going to be in the office that day, get permission from the management of the recipient's place of business to do a show there, failed to know the recipient well enough to know whether a singing telegram, novelty act, strip-o-gram, etc. would be appreciated, or anything else which would stop your booking from taking place, that is neither our fault nor the entertainer's. We have done our job - we should be compensated. The performer made arrangements to be available for your event; and, canceling only hours (or less) before your event has a tendency to totally disrupt the life of the entertainers, and often, has a domino effect on the schedules of others in their lives. They may have: turned down a late night booking or night out with friends or family to be up early to do your event, made plans to be back in town from vacation or visiting family and/or friends to be back in time to do your party, or any number of other things. It is not their fault if you did not plan properly; and, they should be compensated for being inconvenienced.

In most cases, you may re-schedule the event or one like it in the same area (shows in a different area may have different travel charges or may require parking fees) within two weeks at no additional charge. (There are certain circumstances in which only a portion or none of the money you paid may be applied to the rescheduled event. We will discuss these with you at the time of your cancellation and/or rescheduling.)

When a performer accepts a booking, they often have to turn down other bookings (through us or another agency). On long distance and weekend bookings, they frequently turn down many bookings just to do one party. The cancellation fee insures they get some compensation for any bookings they may have lost due to your booking request.

  • You are responsible for getting your performer the best directions to your event! Please make sure the performer is given accurate directions and the address is easily read and/or the venue is clearly marked (i.e., signs, balloons, etc.)! Shows may not be cancelled if the performer is running late due to inaccurate directions.

  • Shows may not be cancelled if the performer is running late due to road construction; so, please make the performer aware of any road construction being done on the route he/she will be taking to your party!

  • Shows may not be cancelled if the performer is running late due to traffic & “tie-ups" caused by a wreck(s) or other unavoidable traffic problems (i.e., “rush hour") en route to your party. (Such wrecks and traffic tie-ups are verifiable with local authorities and, often, on local “talk radio" and television stations.)

  • Shows may not be cancelled if the performer is running late due to poor weather conditions.

  • If the performer has notified you they are running late for reasons other than those listed above, you need to figure out how long it will take to get to you; because, if you tell them to come ahead, anyway, you may not cancel once they are headed your way!

  • If the performer is late for your event for any of the reasons listed above and you cancel at the last minute, you will be billed for the full amount of show.

Same-Day Bookings: Refunds on same day bookings will be reviewed on a case by case basis; however, in most cases no refunds will be given on same day bookings. If someone has been kind enough to rearrange their day for you, we believe they should be compensated.

Holiday Bookings: Holiday Bookings are non-refundable (unless there is: a discrepancy on our part, an “act of God", or “act of war"). Full payment is required prior to the show for holiday and holiday weekend bookings.

Also, since our performers are considered 'Independent Contractors', some performers (Bands, Singers, Solo Artists, Specialty Acts, etc.) have their own specific cancellation policies and we reserve the right to discuss those with you during the booking process.

Our performers do also have personal lives and commitments with friends, families, etc. - just as you probably do. Please give them the courtesy of canceling far enough in advance for them to make other plans.

Thank you for choosing SRO Band – Standing Room Only!!

I have read and agree to the above cancellation policy.
